Sacrament of Reconciliation

On Thursday 21st March ten students from our grade made their First Reconciliation. Reconciliation is one of the seven sacraments in the Catholic Church. In class we have been learning that it is important to forgive others and to be forgiven. We looked closely at the story of the Prodigal Son. Reconciliation means to grow closer to God.

    hi 3/4D,

I did my reconciliation on thursday 21st march. i was scared at first but then i got more brave.
i really liked the certificate. i also liked that all my family was there with me.
after we had dinner at Shanikas restaurant with other kids from holy Family that made their reconciliation (i think reconciliation is a big word that means being friends again).

    best wishes
